7:15 p.m. Chairman Steve Amico called the meeting to order.
II TOWN ADM INISTRATOR REPORT- - -
The Historical Society has requested a Common Victualer’s license for their annual Strawberry Festival on Friday, June 17th at the Old School House on Main Street.
MOTION by Soper, second by Egan to grant a Common Victualer’s license to the Historical Society. Voted 5 - 0
Mr. Read reported that he spoke with Pembroke Town Administrator Ed Thorne regarding the algae problem in Oldham Pond. A recent report indicates that some of the contamination is coming from streams in Hanson. Pembroke will be forwarding the reports.
Mr. Read informed the Board the DEP will be at the meeting on June 21st for give a presentation regarding the Firework site on the Hanover Hanson Line.
III FINALIZE BUDGET RECOMMENDATIONS - Mr. Read briefly reviewed his recommended budget lines which differ from the Finance Committee’s lines. Mr. Egan indicated that he or an audience member will be holding those particular lines. Mr. Read will speak on the lines.
IV ADJOURNMENT
MOTION by Egan, second by Howard to adjourn to Town Meeting. Voted 5 - 0
